Why a Furnace Tune-Up is Important

As a homeowner, the heating and cooling system for your home is a major investment.  Like all mechanical systems, regular maintenance is crucial to keep your system running properly, safely and efficiently.  With our harsh winters, an unexpected furnace failure can mean more than an inconvenience.  A failed HVAC system, especially when you are not home, can lead to burst pipes and cause extensive damage to your home.  If you have been delaying a furnace tune-up, your system is not operating at its optimum efficiency.  Accu-Clime Mechanical Services will properly inspect, clean, oil and tune your furnace which should help prevent premature breakdowns and/or the use of unsafe equipment.

Did You Know?

If your furnace were a car, every year you would drive it 55,200 miles!  That's a lot of miles!! Most automakers recommend oil service every 7,000 miles and most recommend tune-ups every 30,000 miles. Your heating system is a mechanical system, which is the same as your car. It needs yearly service and maintenance as well.
